At Gold Healthcare we want everyone who we care and support to have a home suited to them as an individual. We pride ourselves on providing bespoke living environments. Our mission is for those we care for to feel a sense of value, respect and trust.
We provide bespoke residential and nursing services for people with learning disability, mental health and Acquired Brain Injury. Throughout Northern Ireland we have a number of services to assist in the support and care for individuals with complex care needs.

Key Staff
Gilbert Yates is Managing Director of Apsen Property Development, Healthcare Ireland Ltd and its specialist branch Gold Healthcare.
Gilbert, with the help of the team, aims to provide state of the art bespoke living accommodation for residents with complex care needs and a need for community living. Gilbert has a vested interest in positively influencing the lives of those we aim to help and continually strives to lead the way in the care home industry. Gilbert has grown his company over the last 20 years to now be the leading private healthcare provider in Northern Ireland.
In his spare time Gilbert likes to train, cycle and playing tennis with his sons. Gilbert is presently working on developing his own charity to give back the communites he has worked closely with.
Louise Campbell is Operations Director for Gold Healthcare. Louise is a Registered Learning Disability Nurse and has worked in Learning Disability and Mental health care and support services since 1999. Louise is a Positive Behaviour Coach through BILD. Louise has completed the Mindful Leadership Award through Queens University Management School in 2018 as well as the ILM 5 in Coaching and Mentoring. Louise has experience in the development and governance of regulated learning disability services and has a passion for providing equality and opportunity for those individuals with complex care needs.
Louise enjoys the development of new services with the team. Louise wants to ensure the most vulnerable in society have access to quality services and enjoys working with a company that positively pushes the boundaries of service provision.
In her spare time Louise enjoys spending time with my family and friends, cooking and walking my dog Yuko.
Ciara Todd is the Service Development Manager for Gold Healthcare. Ciara is responsible for ensuring the quality of services we provide meets the complex needs of the people we care and support . Ciara has a BSC in Psychology and is a qualified social worker since 2009. Ciara has over 15 years experience working in learning disability and mental health services. Ciara is a Positive Behaviour Coach through BILD and also has her ILM 3 in Coaching and Mentoring.
Ciara is passionate about providing services for people with learning disability and mental health, promoting enhanced quality of life through innovative service provision.
In her spare time Ciara enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and trips to Donegal.
Lorraine Kirkpatrick is the Service and Business Development Manager for Gold Healthcare. Having qualified as a Registered Mental Nurse in 1998, Lorraine has spent her nursing career in the independent sector, working in Dementia nursing, Learning Disability and Mental Health Nursing facilities. Over the last few years, in her previous role, Lorraine designed and commissioned five mental health nursing units in four different Trust areas.
Lorraine joined Gold Healthcare in July 2021 as Service Development Manager as she is passionate about specialist services, and wanted to work for the market leader in this area of nursing care in Northern Ireland. Lorraine has been responsible for assisting the Responsible Individual Louise Campbell and Registered Manager Lavina Harris in developing the service in Jason Court Care Home in North Belfast. Lorraine also assists Healthcare Ireland with the governance of several homes as well as ensuring occupancy across the homes.
In her free time, Lorraine loves walking her two Westie dogs Jack and Robbie, and sea swimming.
Lavina Harris is the Registered Nurse Manager in Jason Court Nursing Home. Lavina qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1979 , Lavina spent 10 years working in the trust as a staff Nurse working in acute admissions and alcohol addiction. Lavina moved to work as a Manager in Threshold in 1991 -1995 -a therapeutic community looking after 18-25 year olds with mental illness/addiction and personality disorder. While working there Lavina completed her three year Diploma in counselling. Lavina joined the independent sector 1995 , working in a privately owned home for 21 years as Manager before joining Gold Health Care in August 2021.
In her free time Lavina loves sailing, walking and gardening.
Adam Dickson is the Deputy Nurse Manager at Jason Court Nursing Home. Adam has a BSc Honours in Adult Nursing, working in a range of settings including the Regional Haematology Unit and Nursing Home Settings. Adam is a Post Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ulster University supporting the provision of undergraduate nursing course.
Adam is responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in Jason Court and providing care to the residents and their families. Adam is passionate about the provision and development of person centred care in the independent sector.
In his spare time Adam enjoys reading, walking and socialising with friends & family.
Albert Hodgens is the Mental Health Deputy Nurse Manager for Jason Court. Albert has been with Gold Healthcare since November 2020. At this stage the new and exciting development of a bespoke 59 bedded home called Jason Court was still in the building phase. Albert is a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Albert has also completed a BSc Hons in Psychology before he completed his Post Graduate in Mental Health Nursing. Albert has background experience with Learning Disabilities, Brain Injury, Acute Mental Health Admissions, Forensic & spent several months at Broadmoor Hospital which gave him a unique experience that overall contributed to his clinical skills. Albert has said he enjoys working for Gold Healthcare as he finds their approach innovative and refreshing.
Albert has a real passion for supporting staff and has transitioned individuals in to the community successfully.
In his spare time Albert enjoys seeing friends, going to the cinema, and spending time with his family.
